Since graduating college, I have competed in several powerlifting and strongman competitions, but my true passion has always been bodybuilding. Peter has coached me on my nutrition and training since early in 2014, so when I decided to get back on the stage, I knew he be the best choice for getting me ready. This would be my third contest prep cycle in the last five years. I had yet to place in top three in an open class yet, but this time, I was in it to win. Peter set me up with a 28 week program, my first time cutting weight over the winter holidays, to get me ready for two shows in the spring.
Throughout the six months journey, Peter was with me every step of the way. I kept him updated with my weekly weigh-ins and progress pictures, and he set me up with training cycles and macro targets for each phase of my weight loss program. Skype sessions with Peter helped me to perfect my posing and give me the chance to discuss our future plans for stage prep.
For both of my shows, Peter and Amy were there to help me get ready beforehand and cheer me on from the crowd. Where other competitors were backstage dehydrating themselves and stressing to get ready, I was relaxed with an exact plan of how and when to peak for judging. This season was a complete success for me, I took I won my first open class and my first overall win! More importantly, though, I was able to come in the leanest I have ever been and the most ready I have ever been on stage. I could not have made this much progress without the guidance of Fitbody & Physique every step of way.
